Entourage

Another great show to watch on HBO is entourage. This show has been going strong for six seasons. This show came out of nowhere and became a hit. The show is based on a struggling actor who becomes a superstar. This superstar is name Vincent Chase. Most of the show is about the ups and downs of his career. Also he has three loyal friends that have been with him through everything. They somewhat tag along on his growing success while also making their own. One of them is his older brother Jonny Chase. He also is a struggling actor that doesn’t catch a break till about the fourth season. Where he lands a role on popular television show. Eric Murphy another one of Vincent Chases tag alones is pretty much his best friend and Vin really respect his opinion career moves and which movies to do. This always causes conflict between him and Vinnie’s manger Ari Gold. Ari Gold is the one who brought Vinnie into Hollywood and made him the super star he is. The finally friend of the group is Turtle, who pretty much is the one who always drives and does the dirty work. He pretty much is the really big tag along. It’s not till season six he realizes this and wants to start doing something with his life. He starts going to business school towards the begging of season six. The greatest thing about this show is that it takes place in the real acting world Vinncent Chase could be in a film with Brad Pitt or Edward Norton. There also are real directors this make the show very realistic and interesting. At the opening premier of the show there were a couple of photographers and reports. The show wasn’t expected to make more than six episodes. In the six season the celebrated there one hundredth episode. This show is a mush see and always will be.

What is Maryann?

As season 2 goes on you learn that Maryann is not human or vampire. She is a maenad. A maenad is a creature that requires offerings from other supernatural creatures who serve alcohol. If they’re not properly honored they tend to get angry and cause madness in people or even kill them. She also cannot be killed. She begins to cause kaos in this small town taking over peoples mind and having them do terrible things.

Season 2 was a great a season and one of the best things I liked about it is that it picks up right where season 1 ended. Season 1 ends with you figuring out that Marion is something that we haven’t seen before. Lafayette is also kidnapped by someone or something we don’t know. Then it ends with Tare walking drunk Andy back to his car they end up finding a dead body in the back of his seat. The body is African American and you only see the foot. The nails are painted red. Tare screams and that’s how season 1 ends. Season 2 starts with her screaming. You find out that it was the voodoo women that performed the exorcism on Tara and her mother. Her face has a look of terror on it and her heart is missing from her body. Also you find out that Lafayette was kidnapped by Erik because of his selling of vampire blood. They have him chained up in the basement with two others. Also as the season goes on you really find out what Marion is.

True Blood season 2 &
hopes for season 3

True Blood one of most popular shows today has just had two great seasons. Season 2 has just ended leaving us with more than a few questions. But, first the last couple of episodes of season 2 were great and left you hanging and wanting more ever week. Everyone’s different problems started to come together leading to one person “Marion”. Bill and Sams plain worked and resulted with the end of Marion. The whole thing was finally over however left a lot poeple confused and not knowing how brave Sam was. To give up your life and not being sure if you were going to make it out alive. It was a great season and ended even better. Moving to the season 2 finally this clearly left us hanging. Now everyone know s that Bill being kidnapped might be Erik’s doing. Because of the meeting between Erik and the Queen. However for some reason I got a feeling it wasn’t Erik. I feel that it wouldn’t be that simple and that wouldn’t be Erik’s style, someone I think got to Bill for first. Could it be for the same reason Erik plains to go after Bill I don’t know? We will have to wait and see.

Now moving on to season 3. There is a lot to look to forward to. Some things that I'v heard Sam’s quest to find his parents, a Vampire King, and a true love for Lafayette.But one that I know I am is the possible battle between Bill and Erik. This has been building for a while and can’t be ignored much longer. Erik is clearly intrested in Suki and he has been for a while. No one really knows why yet but he is and wants her. But now he as a reason to get rid of Bill and take Suki. This is just one of the many things to look forward to in season 3.
